Odd: App - No turn alert when following route

I have a strange behavior at one specific point when following a route:

See picture. This is a route in Italy coming from a big (meandering downhill) main road entering a tiny road. Here, the App does not alert you to turn. This is esp sad, as when you miss the turn, you have to cycle uphill again….

Oddly, if i follow a route in the other directon I do get a turn alert at the same location (i.e. coming from the tiny road entering the main road)

Could you say where in Italy it is?

It is in the area of Bergamo - this is a route with that problematic turn:

Hi Richard; meanwhile I noticed a similar behavior on many occasions - i.e. similar thing here:

No Turn Alert when heading down main Road and turning into a small street in a hair needle curve of the Main Road (at Restaurant Al Guelfo).

May be related: (I have set the App to 'Dim between Turns') On the same routes, when I want to follow the Main Road my screen lights up at every hair needle curve, when there is a tiny street going off that road to alert me to *not* take the tiny street, but stay on the main road.
(I have no clue how routing works, but I assumed that the routing algorithm takes into account (or 'knows') when I am on a certain road (i.e. here Via Aldo Moro / SP77) and want to stay on that road that it does not alert me about tiny streets going off that route. At least for hair needle curve areas my assumption seems wrong....)
